Purpose / intended use

Femoral pressure point for targeted pressure on the femoral artery for use on intact skin

Description

The miro-mouse compressorium serves as pressure point reinforcement under the miro-pressure dressing during postoperative puncture care. The compressor is quick and easy to position. Good fit and precise pressure transmission to the puncture site. Can be used on the left and right side.

Field of application

- After percutaneous procedures on the femoral artery such as cardiac catheterisations or certain angiographies.
- Haemostasis after injuries or surgical interventions in the area of the femoral artery.
- Assistance in applying a pressure dressing after venipuncture in the groin area.

Kontraindikationen / Warnhinweise

- Application by qualified personnel only
- May only be applied on a sterile compress (gauze or fleece)--no direct wound contact
