Purpose / intended use

Cellulose swabs for skin cleansing or disinfection for use on intact skin

Description

miro-cell are non-sterile swabs made of highly bleached cellulose (according to DAB). Easy separation of the individual swabs due to pre-perforated dimensions (approx. 5 x 4cm). Lint-free surface and optimal absorbency due to multi-layered cellulose. Two rolls in a resealable PE bag.

Field of application

- Skin cleansing: For wiping and cleaning the skin before non-invasive procedures, such as before an injection.
- Absorption: To absorb secretions, blood or other body fluids during non-sterile medical or nursing activities.
- Application of medications: For applying ointments, lotions or other medications to non-open skin areas.
- Protection: To provide padding or protection from light pressure or friction.
- Disinfection support: They can be used in conjunction with skin disinfectants to disinfect the skin before minor procedures.
- General care: For example, in oral care, to wipe the mouth and face, or in incontinence care.
