Purpose / intended use

Nasal dressing for cushioning and absorption as a secondary dressing for use on intact skin

Description

The miro-nosepad consists of a longitudinally and transversely elastic net hose with a centrally integrated suction compress. Easy to put on through already existing "ear loops". The compress nestles against the upper lip and has a high absorption capacity. The absorbed liquid is bound inside the compress.

Field of application

- in the ENT area after nose operations with secretion leakage.
- Protection: The dressing protects the nose from further injury, especially after surgical procedures such as rhinoplasty (nose job) or trauma.
- Stabilisation: The dressing helps to stabilise the nose slightly, which is important to ensure proper healing after surgery.
- Absorption: Because the dressing has absorbent material, it can also help to absorb blood or other secretions.
- Comfort: The dressing can relieve pain or discomfort by protecting the nose from further mechanical impact and stabilising it.

Kontraindikationen / Warnhinweise

The fact that the dressing is "non-sterile" means that it is not suitable for procedures where sterility is required. However, in most cases where a nose bandage with ear loops is used, sterility is not essential. Nevertheless, it is important to change the dressing regularly and watch for signs of infection or other complications.

Retaining straps: highly elastic tubular net bandage 100% polyamide
Filling material: cotton plug (25% cotton combed, 25% rayon, 50% cellulose)
