Purpose / intended use

Eye compress for padding and absorption as a secondary dressing for use on intact skin

Description

miro-eyepad unsterile is an oval, soft and completely closed eye compress with an absorbent inner filling. Liquid is fed through the polyester fleece directly into the inside of the compress.

Field of application

- Protection: Non-sterile eye pads can be used to protect the eye from minor irritation, e.g. dust or other environmental influences.
- Absorption: They can absorb fluids such as tears, sweat or minor secretions.
- Padding: In cases of minor eye injury or irritation, these compresses can act as padding to protect the eye from further impact or friction.
- Cooling or warming: Sometimes eye compresses are used in conjunction with cooling or warming treatments to reduce swelling or relieve muscle tension. In such cases, they are often placed over closed eyelids.
- Cleansing: Non-sterile eye compresses can be used for general cleansing purposes, e.g. to remove make-up or to cleanse the eye area.
- Non-medical applications: They can be used in beauty salons or spas to cover the eyes during certain treatments or during facial cleansing.

Kontraindikationen / Warnhinweise

A sterile eye compress/wound dressing must be used for injuries to the external eye and for applications after operations.
